A Rotary project in service of life
Led by Rotary Club Abidjan II Plateaux, with the support of national and international partners.
President's Message

Dear Rotarians and partners,
For more than three decades, our club has been supporting the CNPTIR and the Ministry of Health to alleviate the burden of kidney failure in Côte d'Ivoire. Today, with this project of a Renal Care & Social Health Center, we are taking a new step: moving from punctual support (donation of dialysis generators, screening campaigns) to a durable, modern, and socially accessible infrastructure.
This center is not only a building — it is a place of hope, where people can be screened, guided, and dialyzed without falling into financial distress. We are building it in the Rotary spirit: *service above self*, transparency, and a strong, partnership-oriented governance.
I warmly invite you to join us.
ADJO Toussaint / 2025-2026 term
President, Rotary Club Abidjan II Plateaux
Our Club
The Rotary Club Abidjan II Plateaux (chartered on June 20, 1985, District 9101) is a historical club in Abidjan committed to Rotary International's areas of focus: peace, disease prevention, water & sanitation, maternal and child health, education, and economic development.
Since the 1990s, the club has made kidney disease prevention and care one of its trademarks:
- Regular donations of dialysis generators to CNPTIR (90+ pieces of equipment donated over the years)
- Free screening campaigns with nephrologists, psychologists, and nutritionists (≈ 500 people per campaign)
- Partnerships with Rotary clubs and associations in France and West Africa
This new center is the logical continuation of this commitment: moving from support to leading a fully-fledged, social, and sustainable center.
Project Governance
To ensure transparency, eligibility for Rotary grants, and the long-term sustainability of the center, the project is managed through a multi-layer governance model, aligned with the club's internal documents (meeting minutes, Project Charter, alignment report).
